I thought you would like this cub cadet snow blower video.
This tractor is over thirty years old and we still use it for every task around the house because of its enormous strength and reliability. This Video just shows it performing in a recent snowstorm along with a matching age snow blower which is single stage. It spins extremely fast because there is only one moving part in the snowblower, opposed to the newer dual stage snowblowers where there is a gatherer and a high rpm thrower. It does just fine. Hope you like the video. Its nothing special, just a fun tractor. Comments are greatly appreciated.

I have a cub cadet 826t with tracts. I am not sure what year it is but it might be a 1993. It works amazing. There was heavy, wet and packed snow that was about 14 inches high along the street left over from the snow plows and it ate though it like nothing. Just spray some cooking oil in the shoot such as pam and you won’t have any troubles even in wet snow. This snow weighed literally 25 pounds per moderate shovel.
nice cub. i had aquestion… i have a qa 36 and a qa 42. mine blows like shit.. i had them mounted on my 1650 and 147, it would clog and i wasnt impressed with it.. did u change the pulley or anything?? i just went back to my 2 stage on my 1811, still just as fun but the 1811 will blow (no lie) almost 30-40 foot
Those old ones are great. I got a 104, but it only has the mower deck.
i have one just like that its vary nice mine has the ih windbreaker and and throws snow just as good nice video
oops I accidentally rated this 2 stars I meant 5, very nice tractor my grandpa has this model with the snowblower on it as well as a newer 2007 Cub Cadet I forgot the model on it though. The 2007 is nothing like his 1968 Cub that is for sure
getting pumped for winter!!!
get to use my ingersoll for the first time in the snow.
purchased a cab for it, cant wait.
thanks for the awsome vid! cub does great.
Never stick your hand into a blower with the engine running…..
Your from NH too?!
Awesome!
ill give you $250 for just the mower deck and tractor if u have one.
hi, thanks for the comment. 1971!!!!!WOW it looks, works and sounds great! moves the snow away quite handily too. It is true, they don’t make them like they used to.
The snowblower works all right in wet snow. Believe me we get plenty here in New Hampshire. Your correct though, a dual stage blower with an auger and an IMPELLER would work better, as usually the configuration requires less horsepower. Still though, with light snow, this single stage will outdo any walk behind dual stage, and I do mean any. Check out my Cub Cadet and Honda Snowblowers video, that one has this cub and a Honda HS80 dual stage beast in it.
Good tractor but the snowblower would not work for the snowfall that we have in the maritimes, in Canada; I’ve tried it ! The best snowblower for more snow it a two stage; auger and a propeller.
i have this tarctor with a plow and a snowblower i make easially 100 dollars in a day
We have a 149 hydrostatic with a plow and mower. They were build to last.
hey nice video!!! i got a ’72 149 and i love it you just cant kill those old internationals!!
i love the sound of those old motors staring.
they are all great tractors. i have a 1971 jd 112. i just installed a kohler k301 shortblock that only has 1 season on it. i bought it for 150 bucks, in other words i stole it. the original k241 still ran, but was starting to get a little tired, i still have the block and its rebuildable. however i have a newer engine that runs like a dream so right now im not going to worry about it. i just mounted up my blower today. i still have a few other things to do, tire chains, ect.
ahhhh cub cadet…now i got a 106 and 107…i want a 129 tho
Thanks man,I just love cubs, and anything else from IH. Its awesome that you collect IH tractors.Believe it or not I was actually looking into getting a Lo Boy 154 or 185 sometime this year,if I get the extra cash. I’ve always admired them, and I think I could get some serious lawn mowing done at my mom’s house,as well as a bunch of other work.I might even be able to hook up a rear mounted two stage blower to it,if I could find one cheap.Just a dream at this point though. Thanks for the comment!
IH Cub Cadet all the way baby!!!! I collect IH tractors from cub cadets all the way to the big farm tractors. I personally use a 1970 model 107 with a QA36 snowblower on it fo my snow removing needs. Them old single stages really throw the snow good, better than a two stage walk behind I had which I sold cause it was more difficult to operate than the old cub. I also use the 107 for plowing my garden with a brinley plow and for mowing the grass during the summer. Nice unit you got there.
That is just so cool.
Wanna trade it for my new LT1000 craftsman? Didn’t think so! Doesn’t hurt to ask lol!! Really, I would trade in a heart beat!
Awesome tractor! we have one of the very early cadets, and we still mow with it every year. My grandfather liked ours so much he bought one new in 1977, and that one’s still going strong too!
@csxgk94 Bought new from Cub cadet years ago. Don’t forget the weights off the back, improve traction and offset weight of unit up front. Home Depot offers one for $1,600. Well worth the money!
where did u get that? and how much? ive been looking every where for one
