i have a plow for my ’75 cub cadet 1000 and the head swivels left to right but mine wasnt able to move up or down so we put a extension bar from the top of the blade to the height selector bar for the mower deckso we can move it up or down

@72ch Actually the 12ga snow plow does have hydraulic angling as a standard feature. If you go to the website and click on the photo of the 12 gauge snow plow you can view several different pictures of the snow plow which show the hydraulic cylinders from different perspectives. Thanks for viewing the videos! Let me know if you have any other questions.

It appears that this blade doesn’t have hydraulic angling and the John Deere does. It isn’t mentioned in the video.

Thank you for your feedback. I think you are right that you may have difficulty with the 60″ blade on the MTD due to lack of weight. Adding wheel weights would help. The “12 Guage” is designed to be used with on board hydraulics. I will have a version coming out later using 12V electric actuators for tractors without hydraulics. I will also offer mounting brackets for other tractors (like the MTD) and ATV’s later. Thx.

Looks like a very good product, I have a 20 hp MTD set up with a 48 inch blade I would think possibly the wider blade may cause a problem with pushing too much snow for a small machine, just my thoughts, but like I said looks like a well engineered product
